This is an app for playing the small Japanese chess (Animal Shogi) on the 3x4 arrayed board. This game is simple but strategic.

You can choose a CPU level among 7 levels. You also enjoy playing the game with your friends.

[Rules]

You and the opponent move a piece alternately until either wins. You have to move a piece at your turn and can not pass it.

Each piece can move to the next squares which directions are printed on the piece. The chick, the giraffe, the elephant and the lion can move to 1, 4, 4 and 8 squares at most, respectively.

You can get an opponents piece into your piece rest when moving your piece. You can reuse and put a piece from the rest onto one of the blank squares.

The chick is promoted to the chicken at the top rank. It can move to 6 squares at most. When you take the opponents chicken, however, you get the chick into your rest.

You win if you take the opponents lion or if you succeed in "TRY."

"TRY" is the own rule of the Animal Shogi. If you move the lion to a "safe" square of the top rank, you win.
*** Caution!!! ***
"TRY" is not completed at the square that opponents pieces can move to. In this case, your lion can be taken and you will lose.
